Save the Planet with Artificial Lawns

Artificial turf, or an artificial lawn, or Astroturf as a substitute for conventional grass (for those who have gardens) could be considered to be more environmentally friendly. This is certainly something you should ponder on if you’re an active gardener who owns sprinklers and leaves them on during the day (and even throughout the night). An artificial lawn evidently, requires no irrigation and as an added plus it never needs to be trimmed. This is something local Devon Architects and Passivhaus (Passive House) designers should consider due to the very high water prices we pay compared to the country as a whole.
